Your website
Your public site is the part anyone can see: the home page and the pages that hang off it. This page tells you where to go in the admin panel to change each part of it.
There are two ideas to hold on to.
- Site Settings holds the words, the look and the switches. Your choir's name, your colours and fonts, the headings and introductions on every page, and the tick boxes that turn whole pages on or off. You fill these in once and change them now and then. See Site Settings.
- The other menu items hold the things you add. Concerts, Gallery, Past Events, Pages and Messages each hold a list that grows and changes through the year: this season's concerts, new photos, a page about your summer workshop. Start with How your public site is put together.
So the heading above your concerts is in Site Settings, and the concerts themselves are under Concerts.
Site Settings and Pages are open to Site Admins and Admins. A Manager sees the other menu items only. See The three kinds of admin.
The home page, from top to bottom

| Part of the home page | Where you change it |
|---|---|
| Colours and fonts, everywhere | Site Settings → Theme: Choose a ready-made theme, Change your colours, Change your fonts |
| The logo or name in the menu bar, and the icon on the browser tab | Site Settings → Choir: Your logo and browser-tab icon |
| Which items are in the menu | Site Settings → Features: Switch pages and features on or off. Pages of your own are added under Pages: Drafts, menus and the order of your pages |
| The top of the page: logo, headline, welcome line, two buttons, statistics | Site Settings → Home: Hero: The top of your home page |
| About Us: group photo, text, highlights, leaders | Site Settings → Home: About: About your choir and its leaders |
| Concerts: the heading, introduction and the note underneath | Site Settings → Home: Concerts: The concerts section of your home page |
| Concerts: the concerts themselves | Concerts in the menu: Add a concert |
| The coloured boxes under the concerts | Site Settings → Home: Promo boxes: Promo boxes on your home page |
| The gallery preview: heading, text and how many pictures | Site Settings → Gallery: Headings for the gallery and past events |
| The gallery preview: the pictures | Gallery in the menu: Upload photos and videos to the gallery |
| Contact: your email address, phone, location, social media, the "Join us" box and the form's heading | Site Settings → Contact: Contact details and social media |
| Contact: what people send you through the form | Messages in the menu: Contact form messages |
| The footer | Site Settings → Footer: The footer |
| A notice that pops up over the site | Site Settings → Pop-up notice: Show a pop-up notice |
The parts always come in this order. A part with nothing to show is left out: the promo boxes when none has a title, the gallery preview when the gallery is empty.

Where to go next
- How Site Settings works: saving, discarding and resetting.
- Filling in settings: text, lists, links and icons: the kinds of box you will meet.
- How your public site is put together: concerts, the gallery, past events and pages of your own.
